The Paddock Pub Information

Stepping into The Paddock Pub on Richardson Road, you immediately get that classic neighborhood pub vibe, where the atmosphere feels both lively and welcoming without being overwhelming. The interior strikes a comfortable balance between rustic charm and casual dining, with warm wood accents, sports memorabilia lining the walls, and cozy booths perfect for small groups or solo visitors. The staff greet you with genuine friendliness, moving efficiently through the dining area while still making time for a smile or a quick chat about the menu specials, which instantly sets the tone for a relaxed meal.

The menu itself is impressively diverse for a pub setting, offering everything from hearty burgers and loaded fries to lighter options like fresh salads and wraps. The wings are a standout here, coming in a variety of flavors that range from tangy buffalo to a sweet and smoky barbecue, each bite delivering the right kick of seasoning and tenderness. Sandwiches are crafted with generous portions and fresh ingredients, making them both satisfying and approachable, while the burger selections showcase quality beef cooked to your preference and paired with creative toppings that elevate classic flavors. Seasonal specials rotate in frequently, giving regulars a reason to keep coming back and explore new tastes without straying from the comfort food vibe the pub does best.

Drinks play an equally important role at The Paddock Pub, with a well-curated beer list that features both local craft brews and popular domestic favorites. The bartenders are knowledgeable and eager to recommend pairings for any meal, ensuring that whether you’re enjoying a casual lunch or an evening out, your beverage complements your food perfectly. Cocktails are crafted with attention to detail, avoiding the overly sweet or generic mix often found in chain pubs, and the wine selection covers a decent range for those preferring something a little more refined.

What really sets this spot apart is how it blends quality food with a social, community-friendly atmosphere. The tables are arranged to encourage conversation without feeling crowded, and the occasional live music or trivia night adds a lively backdrop without dominating the space. The location on Richardson Road makes it easily accessible for locals in Groveport, and plenty of parking means dropping in is hassle-free, whether you’re meeting friends after work or stopping by for a spontaneous weekend meal. Reviews consistently highlight the combination of welcoming service, satisfying portions, and a menu that keeps both comfort food lovers and those seeking something slightly adventurous coming back for more.

Overall, dining at The Paddock Pub feels like catching up with friends over a great meal in a setting that’s casual yet thoughtfully maintained, where every visit feels familiar but still has enough variety to make each experience fresh and enjoyable.

What People's Say About Place

We took our little girls here one evening to see all of the Christmas decoration blow-ups they had set up on display which was really cool! We all enjoyed seeing them all! We also stayed and had dinner, we all ordered something different to eat and everything was amazing tasting. Our server was wonderful and very kind. We will be back for sure!

I saw a review of the Paddock Tavern on Facebook that said it was in Groveport. I could not fathom how I had not heard of it, as there are places we frequent in Groveport, and the town is not that big. It is in the clubhouse at the Links Golf Course. While driving up, I did not know what to expect, but there was plenty of parking. The restaurant feels like a spot where I could relax and have some of my favorite meals. Décor is OSU meets Mother's home-cooked diner. This is a real gem. We have eaten there three times, and the food is absolutely fantastic, with large portions, and the prices are reasonable. There is an extensive menu and we have eaten different things every time

First time here. Quiet and relaxing experience. Great food and good service. Pretzel bites and Patty melt in photos.

We loved sitting outside. The service is very good and everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. The 3 Little pigs macaroni and cheese is highly recommended. They also have unique cocktails, alcoholic and non-alcoholic which are fun to try.

We've been wanting to try The Paddock Pub for quite some time. The atmosphere was fun with several signs and pictures from some of our favorite shows and movies. We sat down and reviewed the menu. We opted for the lunch menu I went with the Big Pig burger. As my wife went with the Pizza Burger. The portions were huge. The flavor combinations were delicious. My only complaint is the buns couldn't hold up to the moisture content and fell apart very easily. The hand-cut fries were well-seasoned and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My wife's burger was a seasonal item. She loved the mozzarella cheese brick on the burger as well. She also had an issue with the bun falling apart. We also got potato skins. I would've liked some extra sour cream. Overall experience was a 9 out of 10. We will be back.

There there seems to be hundreds of items on the menu and what my sister and I picked out was rather average tasting. However, with so many other items on the menu, i'm sure there are some very tasty lunch items. The server was excellent, very nice and helpful. And the atmosphere was truly amazing. With decorations, all over the place, some that you would not necessarily imagine they go together. But yet somehow it worked. I'm looking forward to taking my wife there. Soon and trying other meals.

Our party ordered 3 appetizers, entrees, drinks, and 4 desserts. This place had large portion sizes, making it an incredible value. Kids meals were. Great value and includes ice cream. The owner Paul was very friendly. The vibe was very casual and laid back. Standouts for us were the pretzel bites, patty melt, and donut holes.

This was my first visit to the pub for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was great. They had plenty of seating, and the staff were attentive and helpful. The food was excellent and portioned well. Recommended.
